April has sprung! This month we’ve got a lot to celebrate and we hope you can join us. We have a few fun things Blooming below that sum up life on the island. Experience our history, culture and food and add these events to your calendar!
Taste of Key West
This open-air event promises an assortment of beverages and palate-pleasing plates. Restaurants and food vendors from across the Lower Keys and Key West donate their staffs’ time and extraordinary culinary talents to create delectable small plates. Foodies can stroll edibles and drinkables, ranging from seafood, tropical and Caribbean flavors, to European dishes, vegetarian offerings, and desserts. Buy tickets based upon what looks best!
In addition to the scrumptious food, libations are free-flowing throughout the event. A selection of wines from across the globe are provided by Republic National Distributing Company. Connoisseurs can expect to be wowed with vintages from vineyards and wineries. If wine is not up your alley, no worries — a vast selection of beers is also offered.

Naval Air Show
The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron the Blue Angels are to be taking to the skies at Boca Chica Field, at Naval Air Station Key West. This year’s theme is ‘200 Years of the Navy in Key West.’ The NAS Key West Southernmost Air Spectacular is the largest family-oriented event in the Florida Keys, attracting over 50,000 spectators in a single weekend. Conch Republic Days
The Conch Republic’s 41st Annual birthday party means 10 days of nonstop festivities. Try your hand at the conch blowing competition, attend the Independence Celebration Parada Party, and close it all out with an epic pig roast and pirate costume competition. Eat Conch on a Food Tour
Conch is widely known as an aphrodisiac, but its the homemade Key Lime Aioli that turns us on!
Conch, arguably are most notable ingredient here in the Florida Keys, comes in the form of a fritter on our food tour. Eat and drink other famous dishes particular to our region like Cuban cuisine, rum, and of course Key lime pie!

Brunch with QUEENS!
One of our Southernmost vendors, Mangoes, is hosting a monthly event that has caught absolute FIRE: Drunken Drag Brunch. For $40, expect endless mimosas and your ticket to the show. They feature additional signature drinks, shots, and an ala carte brunch menu to enjoy between laughs, singing, and all around debauchery. They’ve been selling out early the last few months, so get your tickets now.
